IHHF-2010 the 1st International Handicraft and Handloom Fair was organized at Bhubaneswar in Mayfair Hotel Convection Hall by Department of Handicrafts and Department of Handloom & Textiles of Govt. of Odisha, with an objective to project the state as a destination point for sourcing of handmade products from manufacturers directly.

Switzerland ,USA and France and 19 buying agents of our country India representing overseas buyers and export house participated in the fair. Export orders worth Rs 70lakh was placed during the fair and lot of negotiation deals were made which was materialized latter after the fair.
The visitors attended the fair highly appreciated the products and also shared there idea with the exhibitors which was an eye opening opportunity for the local manufacturers and exporters and also an opportunity for the buyers to procure such type of unique and diversified products directly from the producers for their future dealings.
